Custom broker for them all

Storetoexpress starts working with importers before the goods are even tendered to the overseas forwarder to ensure we have everything we need to book, load, ship and deliver without a Customs delay.

Importers must begin thinking about clearing Customs and Participating Government Agencies (PGAs) long before an order is even produced. What is the classification number and duty rate? Have all of the pre-shipment and pre-arrival declarations been made? Are there any government agencies who require post-arrival paperwork or must examine the cargo?

Storetoexpress plans for these scenarios and puts the necessary plans and personnel in place to keep cargo moving at each of these key points in the supply chain. We clear cargo at any port of entry in the United States whether arriving by air, sea, truck or rail.

Importers have visibility as well through our web-based portal giving them the most up-to-the-minute information on their cargo’s location and release status.

Storetoexpress opened in the U.S. in 2011 and immediately applied for and received CPTAT certification. In 2013, we were validated and received the highest status permitted

Jointly created by the private sector and Customs after the events of September 11, 2001, CPTAT is a program open to importers and exporters that gives Customs the opportunity to view a company’s supply chain from start to finish. CBP visits service providers, importers and factories overseas to validate the information provided them. A supply chain with a CPTAT importer, freight forwarder, carrier and Customs broker receives a lower risk score and a reduced likelihood of examination.

Storetoexpress takes security very seriously and works with our customers, partners and CBP to maintain vigilance and report suspicious activities or changes to an importer’s supply chain. If your company is interested in learning more about CPTAT, you can visit CBP’s website at this link. If you would like more information about how to apply for CPTAT, contact our offices to schedule a consultation.
